Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

Our family enjoyed a stylish stay in a uniquely converted building. The classic decor impressed us, but we missed basic amenities like coffee and an iron. Breakfast was simple, but we loved exploring the nearby attractions. Tip, check for room views to ensure natural light.

perfect base for exploring landmarks and park strolls

I stayed here recently, and the room was comfortably spacious with a really nice rain shower, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of exploring, while being just a short stroll from the beautiful Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar and the vibrant Mercado de La Boqueria.

We had a really enjoyable stay with a lovely breakfast variety and a well-decorated room that felt quite spacious. The hotel's unique historical charm really stood out! Would definitely return!

Loved the spot—right near all the cool attractions! Our room was pretty clean and had a nice vibe. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed having breakfast in our room, which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, the air con was a bit weak during the heat. Overall, a solid stay!

Nice location near La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. Our room lacked natural light with a view onto a landing, which felt claustrophobic. The bathrooms are spacious and the staff is really helpful, eager to assist with anything.

Family stay with mixed feelings

The hotel was clean and staff were nice and helpful. There’s a market just across the street with good prices on anything you might need, which was super convenient for us.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

Ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the square. it enhances your stay with lovely views of the marina.

the medinaceli is in a top location with gothic, born, and port vell within walking distance. we loved our clean double room with a fantastic rain shower, and the staff were nice and helpful. great price for quality during the off-season.
